This dress was purchased at David's Bridal in Abilene, Tx in July 2012. It was worn twice. First time it was worn was on the day of the wedding in Ruidoso NM (October 2012) and then again for the reception which was held later in Odessa TX (November 2012). It is a beautiful dress and VERY comfortable to wear. I'm a bit of a top-heavy girl (as you can see by the photos) so I was a little worried that wearing a shoulderless dress would cause me issues. But I had none at all! It has a very supportive (and beautifully decorated) top. The back of the dress has a corset-style design (no zippers!) which was really nice because it made the bust and waist adjustable as needed. I didn't have to have any alterations done in these areas because the corset back took care of any adjustments that needed to be made. The dress has a slight train on the back of it - not very long, but long enough that it could get in the way if you are trying to dance! Alterations were made to add bustle ties beneath the skirt (they are numbered). Using the bustle ties will allow you to tie up the train so that you can move freely in the dress without fear of tripping over the train. Dress also comes with the veil that is pictured with it! The veil was cleaned and preserved with the dress. Beautiful dress, and very (surprisingly) comfortable to wear. Currently it is still in the preservation box. Hasn't been opened since it was cleaned.
